Lauren St John grew up on a farm and game reserve in Zimbabwe, Africa, where she had a pet giraffe and numerous dogs, horses and rescued wild animals, the inspiration for her worldwide bestselling White Giraffe series. Passionate about eventing, she is currently working on the final book of the One Dollar Horse trilogy. When she is not writing, Lauren is proud to be an ambassador for the Born Free Foundation. She lives in London with her Bengal cat, Max.
